In March 6th afternoon, Mr. Wu Zhiwei, Councilor and Secretary-General of Chancheng District Government, Mr. Li Mingyi, Deputy Secretary-General of Chancheng District Government, and Mr. Chen Fuming, Chief of Urban Construction and Water Authority visited Foshan New Media Park for inspection and supervision. They all received a warm reception by Mr. Li Xinliang, Chairman of Foshan New Media Park, who gave a detailed report on the construction and the investment situation of the park.

Mr. Li said, Foshan New Media Park was the first professional park of new media industry in Guangdong Province, thriving the manufacturing industry in Foshan through new platform, new technology and new culture. Since 2011, more than 60 enterprises had joined the Park, and the goal was 100 this year. In 2012, the Park’s tax revenue exceeded 7 million RMB, which would double in 2013.

Mr. Wu Zhiwei approved of the clear development orientation and spoke highly of the transformation from old buildings into such a professional park to thrive traditional manufacturing in Foshan.

The economic exploration of market, in future, relies more and more on industrial segmentation. Taking advantage of this trend, Foshan New Media Park seizes this new pattern of economic growth to establish and expand itself with specialty, aiming to become a nationally or even globally influential high-end new media industrial park and a leader in this field in China.
