In March 12th evening, the opening ceremony of Beautiful Life • Love Heart event, hosted by Zhangcha Subdistrict Women’s Federation and undertaken by Zhangcha Chamber of Commerce, was held in Foshan New Media Park. More than 100 people attended the event, during which new leaders of Zhangcha Subdistrict Women’s Federation had been elected and Love Heart Charity Project started.

 

Mr. Li Jun, councilor of Chancheng District Government, delivered a speech and spoke highly of Federation’s hard work on scientific promotion, economic construction and harmonious development of society, as well as the major contribution to the progress of women citywide. He wished the event a great success and the Federation a model of the counterparts.

 

The Federation aimed to give educational assistance to the children from needy families through Love Heart Charity Project and other social activities, which improved their interpersonal skills and enhanced self-confidence. Love Heart Charity Project Foundation was set up for the successful implementation of the whole project. Ms. Jiang Xiao, the new president of the Federation, took the lead and donated 100,000 RMB to the foundation with a total donation of more than 200,000 RMB that night.

 

Foshan New Media Park, one of the organizers of the event, not only focuses on new media industry development, but also takes active participation in cultural activities, say, 2013 Metal Art Symposium Exhibition, 2013 Macau Piano Competition and Public Lecture on Guzheng (Chinese ancient musical instrument) by Mr. Wang Xiaoping, as well as charity events. In the future, New Media Park will host more public activities to unite the elite around the world and make Zhangcha Subdistrict famous worldwide.
