The opening ceremony of 2013 Metal Art Symposium Exhibition and 2013 China Ceramics Pioneers List Festival was held in Foshan New Media Park in March 8th evening. And at the same time, the award ceremony of China Ceramics Pioneers List was hosted by Ceramic Town Weekly, the most authoritative media on ceramic industry in China. Mr. Li Xinliang, chairman of the park, delivered a speech at the beginning of the show. He emphasized that culture was borderless and Lingnan culture needed international element to be more accepted by the rest of the world.  The Symposium began on February 25th, inviting 4 distinguished European metal sculpture masters: Roberto Cipllone, Christiane Pott-Schlager, Law Kwok Hung and Vicky Frazer. During the 12-day symposium, they revealed the charm of metal sculpture to the locals with their fabulous works.
About 200 people, including senior officials from the government and Bureau of Culture, famous local and foreign artists, successful entrepreneurs, experts in ceramic sanitary ware industry, enthusiastic fans of art, teachers and students of art colleges, came and enjoyed it.
